In the NUTURA® Liposomal Vitamin D3 Spray, nutrients are packaged in liposomes. Liposomes are minuscule little fat-like bubbles that naturally occur when water is mixed with lecithin, a natural ingredient of sunflower oil. Liposomes consist of phospholipids whose structure is identical to that of a cell wall making them easier and better absorbed by the body. It also protects the Vitamin D from degradation and oxidation.
The vitamin D3 is encapsulated in the liposomes. The result is an improved uptake of the vitamin D3 in the blood and body cells.

It is well known that the production of vitamin D is mainly activated by sunlight on the skin. It is generally insufficient obtained through diet.
